This was a follow-up to the hugely popular Fudgie the Beer collaboration that first launched the Carvel / Captain Lawrence relationship. In this second act, we conceived a pair of brands, Cookie Puss and cousin Cookie O’Puss, leveraging two nostalgic characters from Carvel’s heritage.
Cookie O’Puss was a stout brewed to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and Cookie Puss was a milkshake ale, with longer calendar stamina, to help extend the duration of the campaign. In response to a special request from the brand, Cookie Puss was later put in a limited edition package to help commemorate Carvel’s 85th Anniversary that same year.
To support the campaign, Enormous Creative designed and built a campaign website, designed three different 16oz cans, handled media relations, direct to consumer sales, photography, and even creating this fun video short, which won Telly Awards in both “Craft: Editing” as well as an overall Gold in the Food and Beverage Category.
