Enormous Creative is a full-service creative ad agency based in Westchester County, New York. We work directly with our clients to create multifaceted campaigns, develop creative content, and grow brand awareness.

We’re currently seeking a Social Media Manager / Publicist. The Social Media Manager / Publicist will play a key role in developing and managing PR and social media campaigns, as well as creating advertising materials for print and web.

Candidates should have experience writing press releases, pitch letters and other PR correspondences.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of media relations experience and have generated earned media coverage for clients/brands. Must have experience writing web copy, advertising copy, and other generalized content.

Responsibilities will include creating press releases, writing copy for web and advertising, reaching out to media for events, and other general tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Social Media and coordinating with clients for optimum campaign interaction
  • Writing press releases and managing media relations
  • Contribute to the planning, promotion, and execution of PR campaigns
  • Writing copy for websites and advertisements
  • Pitch stories and ideas to media outlets on behalf of the client
  • Arrange publicity opportunities such as speaking engagements, appearances and interviews
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with the media stakeholders
  • Promote the client or company image in a successful manner

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in public relations
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Expertly managing social media accounts for multiple clients
  • Executing and reporting on paid promotion campaigns in social media and Google ads
  • Creating and executing email marketing campaigns on behalf of clients
  • Ability to efficiently plan, prioritize and manage numerous projects and tasks
  • Fastidious attention to detail, highly organized, and able to keep to and/or work ahead of deadlines
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing circumstances in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, passion and drive to take ownership of all projects
  • Proficient in email campaign platform such as Constant Contact and MailChimp
  • Fluency across social media channels
  • Must be able to work locally at our Peekskill, NY office location

A Huge Plus

  • Experience or familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite is a super huge plus
